Disclaimer

Last updated August 7, 2026

Meloa is a personal wellness and executive-functioning tool — it is not a clinical, medical, or diagnostic device. It is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.

Not Medical Advice

Nothing in Meloa — including SUDS distress scores, GAD-7, LSAS, or PHQ-9 self-assessment results, anxiety ratings, analytics, or any AI-generated suggestions — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. These features are self-report tracking tools intended to help you notice patterns in your own experience over time; they are not validated clinical instruments administered or interpreted by a licensed professional within this app.

No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Using Meloa does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or any other clinical relationship between you and Meloa or its operators. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician, therapist, or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or mental health condition, and before making any decisions related to your care or treatment.

In Case of Emergency

Meloa is not equipped to handle emergencies and does not monitor your data in real time. If you are in crisis, having thoughts of harming yourself or others, or experiencing a medical emergency, do not rely on this app — contact your local emergency services immediately, or reach a crisis line such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the United States).

Use at Your Own Discretion

Features such as pre-event lockouts, decompression buffers, and transit-time guardrails are organizational aids based on settings you configure — they are not clinical interventions. You are responsible for how you use the information Meloa provides and for decisions you make based on it.
